Matt Kemp And His Insane Start

• 20 RBI, the same as he had in 2010 as did Tommy Davis in 1962. Ron Cey had 22 RBI through 14 games in 1977.
• 16 runs, the same as Raul Mondesi in 1995, two fewer than Reggie Smith in 1977 and Jeff Kent in 2005. Kemp has the record with 19 runs through 14 games in 2010.

Kemp has more home runs (eight) than the Pirates (seven), Phillies (seven), Astros (seven), and Cubs (five).

Kemp is hitting .400 over his last 36 games, hitting .400/.442/.807 dating back to last September 6.
