Tonight is the 83rd Major League Baseball All-Star Game and will be played in Kansas City's Kauffman Field. While Matt Kemp was elected to be starter for the National League, he remains on the disabled list and will not play. The other representative of the Los Angeles Dodgers is left-hander Clayton Kershaw who, like Kemp, is an All-Star for the second year in a row. Kershaw is penciled in for work in the seventh inning tonight.

Retiree Tony LaRussa manages the National League team in the game that will determine home field advantage for this year's World Series.
