NLCS Game 3: Dusty Baker, Steve Garvey, Ron Cey, Reggie Smith to throw first pitches

Four Dodgers players have hit 30 home runs in the last 12 years. Four Dodgers did the same in one season, 36 years ago, and will be at Dodger Stadium on Monday night.

LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers have scored two runs in the first two games of the National League Championship Series, including nothing in the last 19 innings, so they are pulling out the big guns for Game 3 against the Cardinals on Monday night at Dodger Stadium.

Steve Garvey, Reggie Smith, Ron Cey and Dusty Baker, who in 1977 were the first four teammates to hit 30 home runs in the same season, will throw out ceremonial first pitches before Monday's game.

Garvey threw out the first pitch before last Monday's Game 4 of the NLDS against the Braves, though it turned into a relay from first base to home also involving fellow former first baseman Eric Karros. Garvey then before he addressed the crowd with "It's time for Dodger baseball," Garvey correctly proclaimed, "Welcome to the final game of the 2013 NLDS."

Jeffrey Osborne will sing the national anthem before Monday's game.

If you are heading to Dodger Stadium, parking lot and stadium gates open at 2 p.m. PT, and first pitch is scheduled for 5:37 p.m. PT. The game will be televised by TBS.
