LOS ANGELES -- Hyun-jin Ryu makes his second start against the Cardinals this season as he takes the mound for the Dodgers in Game 3 of the National League Championship Series.

Ryu allowed just five hits and one unearned run in a win in St. Louis on Aug. 8, with seven strikeouts and no walks. The Dodgers would certainly take that on Monday.

Down two games to none in the series, Ryu said he doesn't feel any extra pressure in Game 3.

"I believe in our team. We have an explosive offense that could spark at any time, and I believe that it's not like our team goes out there not to get hits," Ryu said on Sunday. "Even as early as [Monday], I believe we can come back and be the team that we're supposed to be.

Here is a look at the active Cardinals and their numbers against Ryu, which admittedly is a tiny sample size:

  • David Freese: 2-for-3 (.667), strikeout
  • Matt Holliday: 2-for-3 (.667)
  • Matt Carpenter: 1-for-3 (.333)
  • Carlos Beltran: 0-for-3 (.000)
  • Jon Jay: 0-for-3 (.000)
  • Pete Kozma: 0-for-2 (.000), strikeout
