2013 Dodgers review: Josh Wall

Josh Wall was one of the better relievers in spring training - after a brief few weeks in LA in April, he was part of the trade to Miami for Ricky Nolasco

Lisa Blumenfeld

Josh Wall had a short visit in LA in April but the next time his name came up was as part of the trade for Ricky Nolasco in July.

What went right

Josh Wall had a very good 2013 spring, 12.2 IP, 12K, 2 walks, 10 hits allowed. He pitched in 6 games for the Dodgers, finished one that ended up in the win column. After the trade, he pitched well for the Marlin's AAA club, New Orleans, 3.27 ERA in 20 relief appearances, striking out 21 in 22 innings pitched.

What went wrong

Aside from giving up a walk-off grand slam to Met slugger Jordany Valdespin back in April, not much else as far as the Dodgers were concerned.

2014 status

On October 4th, Josh Wall was claimed by the Los Angeles Angels and added to their 40-man roster. Josh Wall has one option left.
