2013 Dodgers review: Javy Guerra

In 2013, Javy Guerra saw Los Angeles only in May and despite other late additions to the pen, Guerra was not added to the roster in September

Victor Decolongon

Javy Guerra had just one month in Los Angeles in 2013, there is an open question where he will be when the 2014 season starts.

What went right

Javy Guerra's year could be summed up with the elation to his being named and then deemed ineligible to pitch for Team Mexico in World Baseball Classic.

Guerra appeared in 27 games for the Albuquerque Isotopes with 4 starts. He had a 3.66 ERA, with 36K in 39⅓ innings pitched.

What went wrong

Guerra didn't pitch that well in his short time with the Dodgers and he was optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque in exchange for purchasing Peter Moylan's contract.

2014 status

Javy Guerra is 1-2 years away from arbitration eligibility but he is out of options as he enters 2014 as a 28 year old middle reliever.
