The Desert Dogs post season hopes continued to fade on Tuesday as Glendale lost their third straight, falling to the Saguaros 4 - 2. The Glendale offense didn't put up much of a fight in this one as outside of a solo homer from Brent Keys (Marlins), the club managed just 7 singles in the game. Yorman Rodriguez (Reds) collected two of those base knocks and recorded an RBI, while the only Dodger to participate in this game, Brian Cavazos-Galvez, went 1 for 4. BCG also had an outfield assist, throwing out a runner at 2nd.

Starting pitcher Stephen McCray (White Sox) had his worst outing of the season as he gave up 2 runs on 6 hits and 2 walks over 3.1 innings of work. Trevor May (Twins) actually took the loss, however, despite striking out three and not allowing an earned run. Cincinnati farmhands Chad Rogers and Drew Hayes tossed the final two frames, and both were able to keep their ERA's under 1 for the season.

Coming up: Glendale will try and stop their losing streak with Michael Lorenzen (Reds) on the mound as he'll take on Blaine Hardy (Tigers) and the Solar Sox.
