J.P. Howell contract details
The Dodgers on Christmas Eve finalized four contracts, including a two-year deal for southpaw J.P. Howell, who is guaranteed $11.25 million over two years and could earn up to $17.25 million over three years if his 2016 option is exercised.

Dodgers in holding pattern at winter meetings
There hasn't been a whole lot of action just yet at the winter meetings, but let's catch up on the nothing so far. The Dodgers are still fielding interest in Matt Kemp, and waiting on free agents Juan Uribe, J.P. Howell, Jamey Wright, and others.

Relief pitchers on Dodgers shopping list
Dodgers general manager Ned Colletti is looking to add likely two more pitchers to his bullpen. Whether that happens during the winter meetings (Dec. 9-12) remains to be seen.
