Roughly one week into spring training, let's look around baseball at former Dodgers on minor league deals in other camps. There are approximately 637 non-roster invitees to big league camps this spring, including 618 in the 29 camps other than the Dodgers.
Here are the former Dodgers who are trying to make it as non-roster invitees with other clubs:
Angels: Trent Oeltjen
Blue Jays: Ramon Ortiz, Claudio Vargas, Eugenio Velez
Braves: Blake DeWitt
Cubs: Cory Wade
Giants: Scott Proctor, Wilson Valdez
Indians: Fernando Nieve
Nieve, a non-roster invitee to Dodgers camp in 2012, made 24 starts for Triple-A Albuquerque last year. Though his ERA was 5.96 and he allowed 19 home runs, he was second on the team (to John Ely) with 107 strikeouts in 119⅓ innings.
Mariners: Logan Bawcom, Jhonny Nunez
The Dodgers traded Nunez to the Nationals at the end of August 2006 for Marlon Anderson, who went buck wild with seven home runs in September and became the greatest Dodger in history. Bawcom was traded with Leon Landry last July 30 to the Mariners for Brandon League.
Marlins: Nick Green
Mets: Jamie Hoffmann, Scott Rice
Rice nearly made the Dodgers' opening day roster in 2012, but the left-hander lost out for the eighth and final spot in the bullpen to Josh Lindblom. Rice was 2-3 with a 4.40 ERA and nine saves in 54 games for Triple-A Albuquerque last season.
Orioles: Mark Hendrickson
Phillies: Josh Fields (Dodgers NRI in 2012)
Pirates: Lucas May, Ivan De Jesus
De Jesus, sent by the Dodgers to Boston in the Punto deal in August, was designated for assignment on Nov. 20. The Red Sox traded to Pittsburgh in December in a six-player deal involving fellow former Dodgers Joel Hanrahan and Jerry Sands.
Rays: Jamey Wright
Red Sox: Oscar Villarreal (Dodgers NRI in 2011)
Reds: Cesar Izturis, Wilkin De La Rosa (Dodgers NRI in 2011; pitched for Chattanooga & Albuquerque)
Rockies: Erick Threets (Dodgers NRI in 2009)
Royals: George Sherrill
White Sox: Ramon Troncoso, Josh Bell
Yankees: Juan Rivera
