True Blue LA podcast, episode 3: Fan fest

New, comments

How many True Blue LA editors does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop? That's right, three.

In addition to our normal weekly podcast, we have a bonus episode this week, as Jacob Burch and I talked with Craig Minami to recap the ins and outs of the Dodgers' first ever offseason fan fest on Jan. 26 at Dodger Stadium.

Minami wrote about his time at fan fest last weekend, so be sure to read that if you haven't already done so.

We also talked about Chad Billingsley's optimism in his interview with Jorge Jarrin on Dodger Talk on AM 570 on Thursday, as well as the Caribbean Series in Hermosillo, where Fernando Valenzuela will be inducted into the Caribbean Baseball Hall of Fame. Hanley Ramirez is in that series, and we talked a little bit about the fact that Ramirez still isn't playing shortstop, something Mike Petriello addressed at Mike Scioscia's Tragic Illness on Saturday morning.

The podcast is now on iTunes. Please write a review of the show; that would help us out a lot.

As always, be sure to send any and all questions to tblapodcast@gmail.com.
