I guess switching to Time Warner Cable in 2014 didn't set well with Fox Sports. The Dodgers on Friday announced their spring training television schedule, which includes all of zero games in the Cactus League on Prime Ticket.
KCAL will broadcast three Cactus League games, all from Camelback Ranch:
- Sunday, Mar. 17 vs. Milwaukee (1:05 p.m.)
- Saturday, Mar. 23 vs. White Sox (7:05 p.m.)
- Tuesday, Mar. 26 vs. Colorado (7:05 p.m.)
Prime Ticket will broadcast one Freeway Series game, the Thursday, Mar. 28 game against the Angels in Anaheim. KCAL will broadcast the Friday, Mar. 29 game from Dodger Stadium.
This is a huge departure from the previous two years. In 2012, the Dodgers televised 15 Cactus League games, and they televised 14 spring games from Arizona in 2011.
Not every team has released their spring broadcast schedule, but there could be a few other Dodgers road spring games televised on other networks, depending on your television service provider.
