The final podcast of 2013 spring training is upon us, as Jacob Burch and I discuss the final position battles in camp and the ramifications of the Hanley Ramirez thumb surgery.

I was sufficiently worried that I might have to eat a hat during the podcast, which was recorded a couple of hours before Yasiel Puig was optioned to Double-A Chattanooga.

Jacob and I also contemplate the designated hitter in the National League, and the ramifications of modern changes on the game of our youth, including the importance of the All-Star Game, interleague play, and more.
