Video: Yasiel Puig's first home run

Good thing the Dodgers added those eight webcasts starting on Sunday, huh?

There was no baseball for the Dodgers on Monday, other than Aaron Harang throwing a simulated game with Milwaukee and Baltimore keeping tabs on him, so it gives us one more day to relive the most exciting moment of spring training to date. Matt Kemp hit a ball in the third inning that nearly went out, but it was caught on the warning track. The man pinch hitting for Kemp in the seventh inning did not miss his chance.

Yasiel Puig is hitting .421 (8-for-19), and half of his hits have gone for extra bases, including Sunday's home run. On a team with a payroll over $230 million, Puig has been the one this spring that nobody can take their eyes off. Not only did Charley Steiner immediately recognize that Puig's ball was a home run, but the line drive made Steiner release a guttural "Ohhh!"

Forget about opening day for now, as that is four long weeks away. There will be plenty of time for premature rampant speculation about Puig's major league future. But for now, just sit back and enjoy.
