Spring training 2013: Dodgers schedule includes Mexico, two split squad days

The Dodgers host Adrian Gonzalez, Luis Cruz, Javy Guerra and Team Mexico on Wednesday afternoon, one of two split squad days this week for the Dodgers.

The Dodgers did not have a game on Monday, but even with the off day this will be their busiest week of the spring (tied with next week), with eight games. The Dodgers host Team Mexico on Wednesday at Camelback Ranch, facing not only players Luis Cruz, Adrian Gonzalez and Javy Guerra, but also coaches Fernando Valenzuela and Juan Castro.

The Dodgers open their week on Tuesday with their second trip to Peoria in four days, this time to face the Padres. Here is a look at the schedule for the week, including broadcast information (all times noon PT unless otherwise noted):

  • Tuesday: at Padres (Fox Sports San Diego, also MLB Network delayed)
  • Wednesday (ss): vs. Team Mexico (webcast on Dodgers.com)
  • Wednesday (ss): at Indians
  • Thursday: vs. Texas (Prime Ticket)
  • Friday (ss): at Giants
  • Friday (ss): vs. Reds (6:05 p.m., webcast on Dodgers.com)
  • Saturday: vs. Mariners (webcast on Dodgers.com)
  • Sunday: at Rockies (1:05 p.m., ROOT Sports, also MLB Network delayed)

Sunday marks the start of Daylight Savings Time, so all Cactus League game times after that will be on the same time as in the Pacific time zone.
