Chad Billingsley was placed on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to April 16th, for right elbow pain. He will return to Los Angeles and have further medical evaluation. Billingsley did have an MRI on Saturday, the results have not yet been announced.
Jerry Hairston, who made 23 starts at third base in 2012 for the Dodgers, makes his first 2013 start at third.
Matt Kemp started in the cleanup spot 8 times in 2012, makes his first start in that spot today.
