Carl Crawford scratched with right hamstring tightness

Crawford, Matt Kemp, and Adrian Gonzalez are the only three Dodgers to play all 25 games so far this season.

The Dodgers welcome Hanley Ramirez back to their lineup on Tuesday night against the Rockies, but the final game of April wouldn't be complete without yet another injury of some sort. Left fielder Carl Crawford was scratched from the starting lineup for what the team called precautionary reasons because of tightness in his right hamstring.

Crawford has had a wonderful start to the season, hitting .308/.388/.516 with 20 runs scored in 25 games. He leads the Dodgers in runs scored, home runs (four), extra-base hits (10), slugging percentage, and OPS (.905). Crawford started 21 of the first 25 games, and played in the other four games as well.

Andre Ethier was scheduled to have a day off against the left-handed Jorge De La Rosa, but is now back in the lineup, batting sixth in right field. Jerry Hairston, who was in right field, will now switch over to left field and bat leadoff in place of Crawford.
