Today is opening day for the minor leagues, and with an off day for the big league club this is the perfect opportunity to follow some minor league action. Over the past week I previewed each of the minor league rosters, so you can take a look at the Isotopes (AAA), the Lookouts (AA), the Quakes (HiA), and the Loons (LoA).

The Great Lakes Loons kick off the action at 3:05 this afternoon, with Angel Sanchez getting the start in his return to the Midwest League. The Chattanooga Lookouts were supposed to play at 4:15 but the game has now been canceled due to rain. The Albuquerque Isotopes game will commence at 5:35 and will feature Stephen Fife, while the Rancho Cucamona Quakes will be the late game with a 7:05 start. Our own Eric Stephen will be on hand at the Epicenter to watch Chad Billingsley make his rehab start for the Quakes.
