The Dodgers this year are bringing back something we haven't seen in years at Dodger Stadium, as they will have an Old Timers Game on Saturday, June 8 before their game against the Braves.

Plenty of former Dodgers stars will be on hand to face a team of former Yankees. The two most intriguing names on the Dodgers' side are Darryl Strawberry and Pedro Guerrero, who have rarely been seen at Dodger Stadium since their playing careers ended.

Here are the list of participants scheduled for Old Timers Game, which is of course subject to change:

Dodgers: Bill Buckner, Ron Cey, Tommy Davis, Al Downing, Eric Gagne, Pedro Guerrero, Mickey Hatcher, Lou Johnson, Ken Landreaux, Tommy Lasorda, Davey Lopes, Rick Monday, Manny Mota, Don Newcombe, Jerry Reuss, Bill Russell, Dave Stewart, Darryl Strawberry, Fernando Valenzuela, Bob Welch, Maury Wills, Steve Yeager.

Though he is not listed among the participants here, Dodgers legend Sandy Koufax said during spring training he planned to be at Dodger Stadium for old timers day.

Yankees: Rick Cerone, Chris Chambliss, Ron Davis, Dwight Gooden, Goose Gossage, Rickey Henderson, Jay Johnstone, Graig Nettles, Bob Watson.

Given the presence of the 86-year-old Newcombe, the 85-year-old Lasorda, and the 75-year-old Mota, among others, I'm guessing not all the participants will play. But that is a veritable who's who of former stars which should make for a fun evening at Chavez Ravine.

Gates will open at 4:10 p.m. on June 8, the old timers will be introduced at 5:20 p.m., and the game will take place from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. The Dodgers battle the Braves beginning at 7:10 p.m. PT.
