The Dodgers and Angels are both below .500, but the cross-town rivals share a lot more in common than that. Bill Shaikin of the LA Times says the two teams have at least shown they're willing to spend. ESPN's Mark Saxon talked about money, injuries, and a couple other things the two teams have in common. Lee Singer of ESPN wrote about the injuries and defensive issues that have impacted the two teams.

Tyler Kepner also wrote about the similarities between the two teams in a very interesting piece in the New York Times.

ESPN's Buster Olney wrote about the Andre Ethier situation in Los Angeles. Should the Dodgers trade him or keep him?

Remember this? Well Matt Kemp flew Josh Jones and his family down to LA for the game yesterday. Jones got to visit with the team and watch the game, via Austin Laymance.

In case you missed this yesterday on TrueBlueLA, Josh Beckett felt "numbness and tenderness in his fingers," and is scheduled to have an MRI.

A.J. Ellis appeared on the MLB Network's Intentional Talk last week for a pretty funny interview.

Finally, Munenori Kawasaki might have won the award for the best postgame interview ever after Toronto's game on Sunday.
