Dodgers vs. Diamondbacks TV schedule, starting pitchers

KCAL and Prime Ticket have swapped games against the Diamondbacks.

USA TODAY Sports

The Dodgers still have one more game left in San Francisco, a duel between Hyun-jin Ryu and Matt Cain on ESPN Sunday Night Baseball, but here is a brief look ahead to the pitching matchups when the Dodgers return home. The Dodgers host the Diamondbacks at Dodger Stadium from Monday through Wednesday, the start of a nine-game homestand.

The Dodgers have switched television stations for the final two games of the series. Prime Ticket will now broadcast Tuesday's game, swapping with KCAL, who will televise the Wednesday series finale. Both games are at 7:10 p.m. PT. Here are the pitching matchups for the series:

Monday, 7:10 p.m. (Prime Ticket)

Chris Capuano will be activated from the disabled list to start the series opener, looking to provide some stability to a Dodgers starting rotation that has averaged just 5.13 innings per start in the last 16 games. Trevor Cahill, who pitched scoreless baseball into the eighth inning against the Dodgers on Apr. 14, gets the start for Arizona.

Tuesday, 7:10 p.m. (Prime Ticket)

Josh Beckett looks to get back on track facing the team against whom he pitched his best game of the year. Beckett didn't allow a run until the ninth inning on Apr. 14 in Arizona, but has been a mess since. Beckett gets an extra day of rest since his last start, and this season on five days rest Beckett has allowed 12 runs in 16 innings. Brandon McCarthy like Beckett is also winless on the season and has an ERA (7.22) two runs higher than Beckett (5.24). But he's funny sometimes on Twitter, so there's that.

Wednesday, 7:10 p.m. (KCAL)

Clayton Kershaw gets the call in the series finale, looking for his fourth win of the season. Wade Miley won his first two starts of the season but despite a 3.57 ERA in his last four outings he is winless during that span. The Dodgers are 5-6 against left-handed starters this season.
