Dodgers vs. Yankees starting lineups: Adrian Gonzalez at DH in Game 2

Chris Capuano and Phil Hughes face off on the mound in Game 2 of Wednesday's doubleheader at Yankee Stadium.

USA TODAY Sports

The Dodgers look for a split with the Yankees in the second game of the day-night doubleheader at Yankee Stadium. Chris Capuano was activated from the disabled list to start Game 2, making his first major league start since May 29.

The Dodgers have new players at all four infield positions in Game 2. With Adrian Gonzalez moving to designated hitter for the nightcap, Jerry Hairston starts at first base. Mark Ellis sat out Game 1 but is at second base in Game 2, with Skip Schumaker playing left field and batting leadoff. Hanley Ramirez was DH in Game 1 but is back at shortstop for Game 2, and Luiz Cruz starts for Juan Uribe at third base.

Tim Federowicz starts at catcher in Game 2.

The Yankees' swapped catchers, with Austin Romine starting for Chris Stewart in the nightcap. The first seven hitters for New York are batting in the same order, but Vernon Wells moved from left field to DH, Thomas Neal moved from DH to right field, and Ichiro Suzuki moves from right to left field.
