Bill Plunkett at the Orange County Register ($) recaps Yasiel Puig's opening night.
Mike Petriello at Mike Scioscia's Tragic Illness recapped the game as well.
Jon Weisman at Dodger Thoughts wrote about Puig after the game, but I think I liked his pregame lineup more.
Jon Heyman at CBS Sports moved a few steps ahead and speculated about the Dodgers trading Andre Ethier. A rival GM speculated if the Dodgers traded Ethier "I bet they'd have to eat half" of whatever is left on his five-year, $85 million contract.
Scott Miller of CBS Sports compared Puig to Yoenis Cespedes, and talked with longtime Dodgers scout Mike Brito, who was wowed by Puig in Cuba.
Jason Parks at Baseball Prospectus ($) said this of Puig: " If he hits his mark—which isn’t a given, as there are still many unknowns about his game—Puig could be an all-star at the major league level, a middle-of-the-order monster with a cathedral ceiling."
In other, non-Puig news, Chris Jackson at Albuquerque Examiner had a long talk with Isotopes outfielder Jeremy Moore.
