Dodgers-Yankees Old Timers Day to be streamed online

The Dodgers old timers will face the Yankees old timers with festivities beginning at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday at Dodger Stadium.

The Dodgers have brought back old timers day and will battle a team of former Yankees prior to Saturday night's game against the Braves. Here are the participants we know of:

Dodgers: Bill Buckner, Ron Cey, Tommy Davis, Ron Fairly, Steve Garvey, Pedro Guerrero, Mickey Hatcher, Lou Johnson, Sandy Koufax, Ken Landreaux, Tommy Lasorda, Davey Lopes, Rick Monday, Manny Mota, Don Newcombe, Jerry Reuss, Bill Russell, Darryl Strawberry, Don Sutton, Dick Tracewski, Fernando Valenzuela, Bob Welch, Maury Wills, Steve Yeager.

Yankees: Paul Blair, Rick Cerone, Chris Chambliss, Ron Davis, Al Downing, Dwight Gooden, Goose Gossage, Rickey Henderson, Jay Johnstone, Jim Leyritz, Graig Nettles, Bob Watson.

Valenzuela is starting on the mound for the Dodgers, while Billy Crystal will manage the Yankees.

The schedule for the day is as follows:

  • 4:10 p.m.: Gates open
  • 4:30 - 5:15 p.m.: Batting practice
  • 5:20 p.m.: Introductions
  • 5:30 - 6:45 p.m.: Old timers game

Beginning at 5:20 p.m., the Dodgers will stream the festivities on Dodgers.com.
