The Cuban phenomenon Yasiel Puig can't be stopped by opposing pitchers, but a left hip injury will keep him out of Saturday's lineup. Puig left Friday's contest in the fifth inning after re-aggravating the hip. Puig first experienced the injury on July 3rd by colliding with the wall at Coors Field. Since the 22-year-old star broke onto the scene on June 3rd, he hasn't received one day off.
Starting Lineups
Leadoff man and left fielder Carl Crawford will sit out for the second consecutive day. battling back problems. Crawford hasn't started since July 9, and continues to be day-to-day going forward.
Skip Schumaker bats first again and went 1-for-3 at the top of the lineup Friday. Since switching back to number 55, Schumaker is hitting .429 at 3-for-7.
