Video: Carlos Marmol pitches one inning for Rancho Cucamonga Quakes

Recently acquired Los Angeles Dodgers reliever Carlos Marmol works a 1-2-3 inning for the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes, the Dodgers High-A affiliate.

Recently acquired reliever Carlos Marmol worked his third game for the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes, the Los Angeles Dodgers High-A affiliate, on Sunday evening, and his first on a back-to-back night.

Marmol, 30, has struggled thus far with the Quakes, giving up a home run in each of his two first outings. In his third appearance, though, he worked a 1-2-3 inning for the Quakes.

There had been significant heat sitting behind home plate during Marmol's first two appearances with Ned Colletti and De Jon Watson taking in the first game. While Watson also attended the second game, neither he nor Colletti were in attendance on Sunday -- at least to my knowledge.

Here's a play-by-play of the results from the only three batters Marmol faced; he threw a 94-95 MPH fastball with a 84-5 slider.
