Jacob Burch and I talked about the streaking Dodgers, winners of six straight, in the latest edition of the podcast, recorded Tuesday night.
We recorded this on Wednesday night, after Ted Lilly was activated from the disabled list but before he was designated for assignment on Thursday. Lilly was discussed on this episode, and I said this:
"They sort of keep Ted Lilly around just in case, but if they had their druthers they probably don't want to use him. ... He's definitely not someone they can count on, but he could be a stopgap guy maybe, depending on what else they acquire in the next week. It just seems like he's here because he's here, and I think they ran out of places that they think they can put him. He's going to be here until he pitches badly enough to force them to make a move, or he gets hurt again."
