Yasiel Puig throws out Marlon Byrd at third base - GIF

The Dodgers rookie unleashed his great throwing arm on Wednesday night against the Mets at Dodger Stadium.

In the top of the second inning on Tuesday night after Marlon Byrd of the Mets singled, he tried to advance to third base on a bloop single to right field by Justin Turner. But Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig had other ideas.

It was Puig's sixth outfield assist of the season, one shy of Andre Ethier for the team lead.
