General Manager Ned Colleti took a low-risk high-reward gamble on Brian Wilson. The former Giant closer signed with the Dodgers on July 30, and will makes his team debut against the Marlins on Monday, per Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports. While in the minor-leagues, Wilson tossed 4.1 scoreless innings as hitters accumulated a disastrous .071 batting average.

Wilson hasn't pitched in the major leagues since April 12, 2012 against the Colorado Rockies. The long-bearded 6'2 2-3 pounder posses a lifetime 3.21 ERA and 171 saves. The Dodgers expect Wilson to provide more stability to the back end of the bullpen, but he will not finish out games because of Kenley Jansen.
Meanwhile, outfielder Scott Van Slyke seems to be headed back to the minor leagues, per Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register. At the major league level, Van Slyke accumulated a . 252 batting average and six home runs. The transaction means the Dodgers will currently carry 13 pitchers.

Moments later, the Dodgers confirmed the reporting of Rosenthal and Plunkett.

Regarding the lineup, Adrian Gonzalez feels good to go after sitting out Sunday with neck stiffness. The Dodgers first baseman goes into South Beach with a .295 batting average, 16 home runs and 76 RBI.
Yasiel Puig moved back up to number two in the order as the team gets healthier. The Cuban sensation was consistently batting in the cleanup slot without Hanley Ramirez.
In other news, Puig lashed out at the large continent of media members at Marlins park, per Josh Friedman of 104.3 FM radio in Miami.
Yasiel Puig was in the visitors clubhouse here at #Marlins Park & looked at us gathered there and yelled, "F**K the media" and left the room
