After irritating his left ankle and leaving Friday night's game, it's no surprise that Dodgers outfielder Andre Ethier is out of the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Giants. Ethier joins fellow injured starter Hanley Ramirez, who is dealing with an irritated nerve in his back, sitting against Tim Lincecum.
Yasiel Puig gets the start for the Dodgers in center field on Saturday, his 10th start at the position.
Ethier is hitting .272/.361/.424 with 33 doubles and 12 home runs this season, including .280/.384/.506 with 15 doubles and seven home runs in 50 games since the All-Star break. He leads the Dodgers in doubles and his second in games played to Adrian Gonzalez.
