The Dodgers close out the road portion of their schedule on Tuesday as they open a three-game series against the Giants at AT&T Park. Here is a quick look at the television schedule and starting pitchers this week in San Francisco (all times PT).
Tuesday, 7:15 p.m. (KCAL)
Hyun-Jin Ryu has a 3.03 ERA through his first 28 starts. If he is able to lower it a few clicks in his final one or two starts the Dodgers will have three pitchers with enough innings to qualify for the ERA title with an ERA under 3.00 since 1988, when Orel Hershiser, Tim Leary and Tim Belcher did the honors. Since returning from the disabled list, Matt Cain has allowed just five runs, three earned runs, in three starts.
Wednesday, 7:15 p.m. (KCAL, ESPN)
Ricky Nolasco allowed just six doubles, one home run and 10 runs in 46 innings over seven starts from Aug. 7 to Sept. 9, but in his last two starts has allowed five doubles, a triple and 13 runs in 5⅓ innings. Madison Bumgarner is 2-0 with a 1.80 ERA in September, with 31 strikeouts and seven walks in 25 innings, over four starts.
Thursday, 7:15 p.m. (Prime Ticket)
Since the predictably bad start in Coors Field on Sept. 4, Edinson Volquez has a 3.50 ERA with 18 strikeouts and five walks in 18 innings. Tim Lincecum is 2-1 with a 3.86 ERA against the Dodgers this season in three starts, but Los Angeles batters have hit .281/.382/.375 this season against him.
