The Dodgers close out their regular season with a weekend series at home against the Rockies. Here is a look at the schedule and probable starting pitchers for all three games this weekend at Dodger Stadium (all times PT).
Friday, 7:10 p.m. (Prime Ticket)
Clayton Kershaw has just about wrapped up his second National League Cy Young Award in three years, but first has one final tuneup start before opening the NLDS on Thursday. Collin McHugh is exactly nine months older than Kershaw but in his major league career so far is 0-7 with 42 runs allowed in 43⅓ innings.
Saturday, 6:10 p.m. (Prime Ticket)
Zack Greinke has allowed two or fewer runs in each of his last 11 starts, dating back to July 30, and has allowed 13 total runs during that span. Juan Nicasio has made 30 starts for the Rockies this season, more than double his career high. That's the good news; the bad news is that Nicasio has averaged barely five innings per start and has allowed 24 runs in his last 20⅓ innings in five starts, all Rockies losses.
Sunday, 1:10 p.m. (Prime Ticket)
Hyun-jin Ryu has four straight quality starts dating back to Aug. 30, with a 2.30 ERA during that span. Tyler Chatwood in his last four starts has a 2.66 ERA but has just six strikeouts to go with his 10 walks in 23⅔ innings during that span.
