Major League Baseball released the 2013 postseason schedule on Tuesday, and for the Dodgers it will likely give them a chance to align their rotation to their liking, no matter how the regular season ends. Both National League Division Series begin on Thursday, Oct. 3, four days after the regular season ends.
The playoffs begin with the National League wild card game on Tuesday, Oct. 1 followed by the American League wild card game on Wednesday, Oct. 2. Both games will be televised by TBS.
The NLDS both begin on Oct. 3 and, if they last the full five games, will end on Wednesday, Oct. 9. Both are played in a 2-2-1 format:
- Game 1: Thursday, Oct. 3 (TBS)
- Game 2: Friday, Oct. 4 (TBS or MLB Network)
- Game 3: Sunday, Oct. 6 (TBS)
- Game 4: Monday, Oct. 7 (TBS or MLB Network)*

The ALDS both begin on Oct. 4 and can last through Thursday, Oct. 10:
