2013 NLDS TV announcers: Ernie Johnson, Ron Darling, Cal Ripken to call Dodgers-Braves for TBS

TBS will call both wild card games, all but two division series games, and the NLCS.

LOS ANGELES -- We still don't know the game times just yet, but we know who will announce the NLDS between the Dodgers and Braves. TBS will have Ernie Johnson on play-by-play with Ron Darling and Cal Ripken as analysts for the series that begins Thursday in Atlanta, the network announced on Monday.

Craig Sager and his collection of eye-assaulting suits will be a part of the broadcast as well.

That same crew will call Tuesday's National League wild card game between the Pirates and Reds at PNC Park.

The TBS studio show, which will provide pregame and postgame coverage through the NLCS, will feature Keith Olbermann, Pedro Martinez and Tom Verducci, plus commentary from Dirk Hayhurst as well. In addition, Mark DeRosa will join the studio as a guest analyst from Tuesday though Thursday.

The other TBS announcing crews for the division series are as follows:

  • NL wild card vs. Cardinals:Dick Stockton on play-by-play, Bob Brenly  as analyts, Matt Winer reporting.
  • AL wild card vs. Red Sox: Brian Anderson on play-by-play, Joe Simpson and John Smoltz as analysts, Rachel Nichols reporting (this crew will also call Wednesday's AL wild card game from Cleveland).
  • Tigers vs. Athletics: Don Orsillo on play-by-play, Dennis Eckersley and Buck Martinez as analysts, David Aldridge reporting.
