HiA – The Quakes will live to see another day after defeating the 66ers (Angels) 8 to 5.  Down late in the game, the Rancho offense scored two in the 8th to tie it on a O'Koyea Dickson single and a RBI ground out, then they scored 3 runs in the 10th to secure the victory.  For Dickson his single was part of a 4 hit game for the 1st baseman, while Bobby Coyle also provided a solid effort with a single, a triple, and 3 RBI's.  Darnell Sweeney and Corey Seager got into the act as well as they both went 2 for 5 with a double, with Seager also driving in a run.  In terms of pitching, starter Matt Shelton actually got roughed up early as he allowed 6 hits and 4 runs in just 3.1 innings of work.  Juan Noriega then gave up a run in relief, but after that the bullpen was excellent including 3.2 scoreless frames from Edwin CarlCraig Stem ended up with the save by tossing a perfect 10th.

LoA – The Loons off-season will start earlier than everyone wanted after a 5 - 1 loss to the Silver Hawks (Dbacks).  Similar to the first game of this series the Great Lakes offense couldn't get anything going as they had just 3 hits in this loss. Leo Rodriguez went 2 for 3 and Brandon Dixon singled, but that was really it outside of an Aaron Miller RBI ground out.  On the mound starter Jonathan Martinez struggled though 5 innings despite striking out 7 as he allowed 5 hits, 3 walks, and 4 runs.  Luis Meza also gave up a run in relief, then Rob Rogers ended the Loons season with 2 shutout innings.

Rookie Ogden – The Raptors lost a close game on Thursday, falling to the Chukars (Royals) 4 to 3.  Starter Jake Fisher threw 7 strong frames but took the loss, then Welington Serrano made his Pioneer League debut and gave up a run in an inning of work.  At the plate Hank Yates led the way by going 2 for 4 with a triple, a homer, and 2 RBI's, while Justin Chigbogu also had a rare 3-bagger.  Jesmuel Valentin continued his recent hot streak by going 2 for 3 with a walk.

Rookie Arizona – Season over

DSL – Season over

Coming up – The Quakes will send Lindsey Caughel to the mound in the deciding game of their playoff series, while Victor Araujo will pitch for the Raptors in their third to last game of the season.
