The folks at SB Nation are trying to determine the various plays of the year in Major League Baseball, in a slew of different categories. We will start with trying to determine the Dodgers' funniest moment of the year.
Here are some nominees I could remember. If you have a nominee you don't see here, please mention it in the comments below.
Ryu pitching ramen
This was just after the season, but it still counts, with Hyun-Jin Ryu delivering his best commercial yet, this time for ramen noodles with some Dodgers "teammates."
Manager Papi
Third baseman Juan Uribe was acting manager for the final regular season game, and donned the jerseys of Don Mattingly and Tommy Lasorda in the process.
Joc getting coffee
On the final road trip of the season, at Wrigley Field, Dodgers rookie outfielder Joc Pederson was ordered to go to Starbucks - in full uniform - to get coffee orders for several teammates.
Scully tells the tale of naked Redmond BP
This one was fun, while playing the Marlins. Vin Scully relayed a classic story about Miami manager Mike Redmond, a former player:
Puig on Kimmel
Making a last-week All-Star push, outfielder Yasiel Puig had some fun on Live with Jimmy Kimmel.
Mattingly and 'stache on Fallon
It's a shame manager Don Mattingly doesn't grow out the mustache again.
Ellis on Intentional Talk
Dodgers catcher A.J. is usually a fun interview, and this turn on MLB Network was no exception, quipping about Miguel Olivo, "Some people are just hungry to get to the big leagues."
Please vote below, and again if you have a favorite funny moment not on this list, please let us know in the comments.
