GLENDALE -- After 15 days of camp nine days of full squad workouts, we finally have some actual baseball to talk about at Dodgers camp. The club will play a pair of intrasquad games on Sunday and Monday on Field 1 on the Dodgers side at Camelback Ranch.
The first game will take place at 10:30 a.m. PT on Sunday, featuring Team Koufax and Team Wills, though both teams were picked by Matt Kemp and Zack Greinke.
Kemp had the first pick and took Hanley Ramirez, who is batting third for Team Wills. Greinke took Hyun-jin Ryu with the next pick, with solid reasoning:
#Dodgers Zack Greinke said he took Hyun Jin Ryu with his 1st pick in intrasquad draft. Said pitching key in 2 game series of 3 IP each.

It wasn't so much a straight draft, as there are only a finite group of players and certain positions needing to be filled. But one thing is certain: when it comes to picking teams in any sport, nobody on the Dodgers is more involved and more active than Greinke.
"He was trying to trade during the first meeting," joked manager Don Mattingly. "He likes wheeling and dealing. If he ever becomes GM, have mercy on that team."
Each game will be three innings, and there will be no managers or base coaches.
Kemp, who on Saturday got extra at-bats in live batting practice on the minor league side of camp, is still restricted because of his ankle. Even with the lax rules of an intrasquad game, the Dodgers didn't want to run the risk of even having Kemp hit even if with someone running for him.
"If we knew he wouldn't take that hard step or something, but I don't think they're going to let that happen," Mattingly said. "Guys just react and do stuff."
Outside of Ryu pitching for Team Koufax, the pitching assignments aren't known. But scheduled to pitch on Sunday aside from Ryu are Matt Magill, Kenley Jansen, Brian Wilson and Chris Perez.
In case you were wondering, yes I do plan to keep score of Sunday's game and will likely live tweet the game at @truebluela.
