The Dodgers will face old friend Trent Oeltjen, who headlines the Team Australia rosters that will play a pair of exhibition games on March 20-21 in Sydney. Team Australia announced their 26-man roster for the two games on Tuesday.

Team Australia will face the Dodgers on Wednesday, March 20 at 7 p.m. in Sydney (1 a.m. PT), then face the Diamondbacks the next night. Both games will be held at Sydney Cricket Grounds, and will be televised by ESPN Australia.

Oeltjen played for both teams in the majors, hitting .243/.250/.457 in 24 games for Arizona in 2009 and .202/.330/.330 for 75 games with the Dodgers in 2010-2011. The 31-year-old outfielder hit .255/.345/.483 in 99 games with Triple-A Salt Lake in the Angels system in 2013. He is currently on the roster of the Sydney Blue Sox of the Australian Baseball League.

Joining Oeltjen will be Ryan Rowland-Smith, currently a non-roster invitee with the Diamondbacks (he will play for Arizona in the March 21 game), and several other players currently in minor league camps during spring training, including pitcher Ryan Searle (Cubs), catcher Ryan Battaglia (Indians), corner infielders Stefan Welch (Red Sox) and Michael Walker (Brewers), and middle infielder Logan Wade (Twins).

"We are happy with the range of players who have made themselves available to come back from overseas during season and play for their country", Australia manager Jon Deeble said in a press release. "We have a good mix of talent with the depth of experience but also some young local players who will have to step up and play well beyond their years. We are prepared and look forward to be challenged by the best."

Shane Lindsay, who was a non-roster invitee in Dodgers camp in spring training in 2012 and who pitched eight games for Triple-A Albuquerque that season, is one of 14 pitchers on the Australia roster.

Among those on Deeble's staff are former major league players David Nilsson and Graeme Lloyd as assistant coaches.
