Minor League Player of the DayO'Koyea Dickson (AA) - 2 for 4, 2 HR's, 5 RBI's, 3 Runs. There were a few candidates for this award today, but I'm going with Dickson given his homers and RBI total. After a strong start to his minor league career, Dickson had a somewhat disappointing season in 2013 in the hitter friendly California League. He still managed a promotion to AA for 2014, however, and while he hasn't done too much thus far, hopefully this is the breakout game to get him going.

AAA – The Isotopes tied a franchise record by scoring 11 first inning runs Sunday, but still had to hold on for 13 - 12 win over the Bees (Angles). Clint Robinson and Trayvon Robinson both homered in the big opening frame that saw 15 Albuquerque batters come to the plate. Miguel Olivo, who had two singles in the first inning alone, finished the game 4 for 5 with a double and 2 RBI's, while Alex Guerrero was 3 for 5 with a double and a run batted in. Despite the huge early cushion stater Matt Magill could not pick up the win in this game as he also struggled on the mound, giving up 8 hits, 4 walks, and 7 runs in just 3.2 innings of work. Justin Souza also got hit hard in relief but was still awarded the win, and while Colt Hynes made things interesting by permitting Salt Lake to get within a run in the bottom of the 9th, he still held on for the save.

AA – The Lookouts scored early and often as they shutout the Generals (Mariners) 12 to 0 on Sunday. O'Koyea Dickson was the offensive star of the game as he clubbed a pair of homers, both of them coming with runners on base, which resulted in a 5 RBI day. Chris O'Brien and Scott Schebler also had big days at plate as they both went 2 for 4 with a double and a triple each. On the mound Tyson Brummett put together a magnificent game as he tossed 7 scoreless innings while allowing just 5 hits. Pedro Baez completed the shutout by getting the final 6 outs without issue.

HiA – Off day

LoA – Off day

Coming up Zach Lee and Chris Reed will highlight the pitching action on Monday as they throw for the Isotopes and Lookouts, respectively. Lindsey Caughel take the mound for the Quakes and Jonathan Martinez will throw for the Loons.
