Hanley Ramirez was a late scratch in Saturday's game and is not in today's lineup, his availability to pinch-hit is unknown right now.  Matt Kemp is out of the starting lineup for third straight game.

The Dodgers will try for the second Sunday in a row to go for 4-2 for the week as Josh Beckett faces his old friend A.J. Burnett at Philadelphia.

Yasiel Puig went 2 for 4 on Saturday and has now reached base via hit, walk or hit by pitch in 25 straight games, the sixth-longest streak in baseball this season. He's hitting .414/.508/.758 during that span with eight home runs and 28 RBI.

Don Mattingly said before the game that he didn't know if Hanley Ramirez would need to go on the disabled list.

Matt Kemp will begin to also work out left field though Mattingly said that Kemp would play both LF and CF.

The Dodgers will face A.J. Burnett who started back in April at Dodger Stadium.  In that start, Burnett pitched 6.2 innings, 6 hits, 2 runs, 1 walk and struck out 5.  Burnett made his MLB debut against the Dodgers in 1999, this will be his 12th career start against the Dodgers.

Three Dodgers have faced Beckett at least 15 plate appearances in their careers and two are in starting lineup.  Carl Crawford is 19 for 66 (.288) with 3 doubles and a home run.  Chone Figgins is 6 for 18 (.333) with a double, a triple and 3 walks.  Adrian Gonzalez is 2 for 12 (.167) with a double and 3 walks.  One other note about today's lineup, Matt Kemp is 0 for 10 against Burnett with 2 walks and 6 strikeouts.

Josh Beckett had one of his poorer starts in last Tuesday's win over the Mets.  This will Beckett's 20th career start against the Phillies which is the most starts Beckett has against an NL team.

Beckett has pitched much better at Dodger Stadium than on the road albeit this will be Beckett's fourth start on the road versus five starts he has at home.  In Beckett's three road starts, he has pitched 16.2 innings, 4.32 ERA, 18 hits, 8 runs, 3 home runs, 8 walks and struck out 18.  At Dodger Stadium, Beckett has pitched 30 innings, 2.10 ERA, 19 hits, 9 runs, 4 home runs, 9 walks and striking out 28.

Three Phillies have faced Beckett at least 20 plate appearances in their careers.  Jimmy Rollins is 13-for-52 (.250) with five doubles, two home runs and 7 walks, Chase Utley is 8-for-27 (.296) with two home runs and Marlon Byrd is 6-for-21 (.286) with a triple.
