The Dodgers will send Stephen Fife to the mound in Sunday's series finale against the Marlins, and the team is tasked with trying to beat someone who has never lost at home.

Jose Fernandez in 19 career starts at Marlins Park is 12-0 with a 1.00 ERA with 143 strikeouts and 32 walks in 125⅔ innings. He has allowed three runs twice in those 19 home starts.

The Marlins have lost three of those 19 Fernandez starts in Miami, but two of those losses came last May. They are 14-1 in Fernandez's last 15 home starts.

Carl Crawford hit the game-winning home run in the 11th inning on Saturday night, and he is back in the starting lineup on Sunday, though likely more because he is 3-for-5 with a walk against Fernandez. a Andre Ethier is 0-for-5 against Fernandez with two strikeouts, and is sitting on Sunday. Matt Kemp starts in center field, and is 0-for-3 with two strikeouts against Fernandez.

Juan Uribe is 4-for-4 with a double against Fernandez, the only major league batter with more than three hits against the Marlins ace.

Stephen Fife, making his 16th career start, has allowed two or fewer runs 11 times in his career. The only active Marlin to have faced Fife is Garrett Jones, who is 0-for-3 with a strikeout. Jones against every other Dodgers pitcher has 197 hits in 199 career at-bats, with 94 doubles and 66 home runs, roughly.

Dee Gordon, coming off a career-high five hits on Sunday, also stole three bases, his fourth straight game with at least one steal. Gordon with 19 stolen bases has seven more than any other player in the majors, and has the most steals by a Dodger through 31 team games since Maury Wills had 20 in 1965.

Wills ended that season with 94 steals, leading the National League for a sixth straight season.
