Triple-A Albuquerque: Fresno has enjoyed the first 3 games of their 4-game series in Albuequerque, scoring 32 runs in those 3 games which included 11 runs on Sunday as the Grizzlies (Giants) defeated the Isotopes 11 - 5. Steve Smith took the bulk of the damage, in his 4.1 innings, he gave up 8 runs, 7 hits (including 2 home runs), 2 walks and 3 strikeouts. On offense, the Isotopes had 10 hits to go with the 5 runs, Joc Pederson went 3 for 4 with a walk, Trayvon Robinson and Jamie Romak each had 2 hits, Romak hit his 5th home run of the season. Alex Guerrero didn't start but he did pinch-hit on Saturday so he may just getting some days off. Tim Federowicz was 1 for 3 with 2 walks.
Double-A Chattanooga: Behind Garret Gould and his five inning solid start, the Lookouts look to salvage the finale as took the Smokies (Cubs) down, defeating Tennessee 6 - 4. Garrett Gould had his best start of the season, he pitched 5 innings, gave up a run, 3 hits, 3 walks and striking out 5. The bullpen gave up a run in the 8th and 2 in the 9th but it wasn't enough to take away Gould's first win of the season. Ozzie Martinez had a 2-run home run, O'Koyea Dickson was 1 for 2 with 2 walks and RBI.
Advanced Class-A Rancho Cucamonga: The Quakes finished their weekend in Stockton maybe wishing they had spent it in Vegas instead as the Quakes scored seven runs for the third straight game and the swept the 3-game series from the Ports (Athletics) by a 7 - 4 score. Chris Anderson gave up 2 runs in both the first and second inning but the Quakes rallied back and Anderson finished with his second win. 4 other pitchers allowed just one hit to the ports and Blake Smith got his third save. Aaron Miller and Tyler Ogle hit solo home runs, Chris Jacobs and Corey Seager each went 3 for 5.
Class-A Great Lakes: The Loons were down 6 to the Hot Rods (Rays) but in the 9th, they put on a furious late rally but Bowling Green held on to defeat Great Lakes 6 - 4. Luis Chirinos and James Baune each pitched 3 innings and each gave up 3 runs. Victor Araujo and Mark Pope threw scoreless innings. Kyle Farmer, Webster Rivas and Brandon Trinkwon each had 2 hits, Joey Curletta was 1 for 4 with an RBI.

Right-handed pitcher Stephen Fife will likely be optioned to Albuquerque today and Paco Rodriguez is the likely candidate to be recalled back to the Dodgers; Carlos Frias, who was transferred to Ogden, is the listed starter for the Isotopes so a corresponding move will be needed.
