Saturday night saw a trio of Dodgers on rehab appearances as six Dodger affiliates won on Saturday.
Minor League Player of the Day
LH Pitcher Chris Reed (AA): Reed has been starting all season in Chattanooga and on Saturday he had his first start of in the second half, Reed picked up the win as he pitched 7 innings, allowed 4 hits, 4 walks and struck out 3.
Triple-A Albuquerque
Carlos Frias and four relievers (all on the Dodger-40 man roster) shutout the Iowa Cubs 4-0. The four relievers, Yimi Garcia, Pedro Baez, Paco Rodriguez and Jose Dominguez held the Cubs scoreless for four innings. Tim Federowicz, Walter Ibarra and Erisbel Arruebarrena each had 2 hits. Joc Pederson was 1 for 3 with 2 runs and 2 walks.
Double-A Chattanooga
Chris Reed, Jarret Martin and Blake Smith pitch the Lookouts to a 4-1 win over the Tennessee Smokies (Cubs). Darnell Sweeney, Brian Cavazos-Galvez and Angel Sanchez each had 2 hits.
Advanced Class-A Rancho Cucamonga
Scott Elbert retired the 3 batters he faced in his start, two by strikeout. Juan Uribe started at third base, went 2 for 4 with a RBI and run scored. However 5 other Quakes had 2 or more hits as the Quakes won an offensive showcase 13 - 9 over the Inland Empire 66ers (Angels). After Elbert and Yasmanys Fernandez pitched the first two innings, Chris Anderson came out to pitch the top of the 3rd inning and despite a 12 run lead, Anderson could not find the plate and did not finish the inning. Corey Seager was 2 for 5 with a double and a home run. Adam Law and Aaron Miller each had 3 hits.
Class-A Great Lakes
After leading 3 - 0, the Loons held on to a 4 - 3 win over the Dayton Dragons (Reds). Brandon Martinez started, Ralston Cash picked up the win and Kyle Hooper got the save. Four Loons had 2 hits, Brandon Trinkwon, Josmar Cordero, Paul Hoenecke and Jacob Scavuzzo,
Rookie level Ogden
The Raptors were behind 4 - 1 and then they outscored the Orem Owls (Angels) 14 - 0 on their way to a 15-4 win. The first five Raptors in the lineup were 14 for 27 with 9 runs scored and 12 RBI.
Arizona League
Stephen Fife pitched well in his rehab start and left with a lead but after a late Indians rally, the Arizona Dodgers needed to score 4 runs in the 8th for the 7 - 4 win.
Dominican Dodgers
The Dominican Astros Blue (Astros) beat the Dodgers 4 - 2.

Andres Santiago pitches for the Lookouts, Red Patterson takes the mound for the Isotopes, Julio Urias makes his second half debut for the Quakes, Scott Barlow toes the rubber for the Loons, and James Baune starts for Raptors. Arizona Dodgers have not announced their starter.
