RANCHO CUCAMONGA -- Corey Seager, either the Dodgers' top or second-best prospect depending on your ranker of choice, leads a pair of Class-A Rancho Cucamonga Quakes who will start for the California League in the California/Carolina League All-Star Game.

Seager will start at shortstop for the Cal League and Chris Jacobs will start at first base. The California/Carolina League All-Star Game will be played on June 17 in Wilmington, DE.

Seager starts at shortstop ahead of fellow 2012 draftee Carlos Correa, picked No. 1 overall two years ago by the Astros. Correa is a reserve.

Seager, 20, is hitting .335/.388/.573 with 21 doubles, eight home runs, 37 RBI and 32 runs scored in 50 games. He leads the Cal League in doubles and ranks third in both batting average and OPS.

Even with a recent 0-for-11 skid over his last three games, Seager is hitting .364/.422/.636 in 30 games since returning from a hamstring strain in early May, including a 12-game hitting streak from May 14-25.

Jacobs, 25, is hitting .280/.384/.495 with 10 home runs, 16 doubles and 40 RBI in 58 games in his third go-around with the Quakes.
