Minor League Player of the DayJames Baldwin (HiA) - 3 for 4, 2 HR's 1 2B.  The lone highlight for the Quakes on Monday as they continue their season without Seager. Baldwin is still just hitting .217 for the season but he now has 11 homers which sets a new career high.

AAA – All star break

AA – The Lookouts fell to the Stars (Brewers) 7 to 1 in a game that was completed early due to rain.  The Chattanooga offense had just 4 hits in this game, and two of those came from pitchers.  Noel Cuevas' RBI double was the team's only extra base knock while Scott Schebler went 1 for 3.  On the mound starter Raydel Sanchez took the loss after he allowed 4 hits and 2 runs over 3 frames.  Nick Struck also threw 3 innings in relief and gave up 4 more runs to solidify the loss.

HiA – Not much to see here as the Seager-less Quakes fell to the JetHawks (Astros) 5 to 3.  Player of the day James Baldwin collected all three of Rancho's extra base hits as he went 3 for 4 with a couple of homers and a double, while Kyle Farmer went 2 for 4.  On the mound starter Lindsey Caughel struggled for the first time in the second half as he allowed 3 runs on 9 hits over 6 frames.  Scott Elbert then took over in relief but didn't have his best stuff as he gave up 2 hits, walked 1, and permitted a run.

LoAScott Barlow couldn't get out of the third inning as the Loons fell to the Captains (Indians) 6 to 3.  Lake County scored all 6 of their runs against Barlow in that fateful 3rd inning, but that also meant that the Great Lakes relievers threw very well in this game.  Michael Johnson, Mark Pope, and Jacob Rhame combined for 3 hitless frames to end the game and struck out 7 of the 9 batters they faced.  At the dish Alex Santana led they way by going 2 for 4 with a double and 2 RBI's.  Jesmuel Valentin also had a two-bagger which was the only other offensive highlight for the Loons.

Rookie Ogden – The Raptors pulled out their big sticks on Monday as they reigned in the Mustangs (Reds) 10 to 3.  Ogden put together an 18 hit attack in this game, and 2014 16th round pick Devan Ahart led the way by going 4 for 6 with a double, a RBI, and 2 run scored.  Julian Leon was next in line as he continued his hot start by going 3 for 4 with a double and a RBI, while Colin Hering collected 3 singles and drove in a pair.  Justin Chigbogu's 4th homer of the year was the only long ball for the Raptors and Michael Ahmed knocked in a game high 3 runs with a triple.  Jose De Leon started on the hill and allowed just one unearned run on 2 hits while striking out 5 over 3 innings.  John Richy was the star out of the bullpen as he punched out 4 over 3 shutout frames.

Rookie Arizona – Off day

DSL – The Dominican Dodgers were out-hit on Monday but still salvaged a 3 - 1 win over the IndiansShakir Albert doubled in a run and Carlos Aquino had a triple, but that was about it for the offensive highlights.  Starter Osiris Ramirez picked up the win with 5 scoreless frames, allowing just 2 hits and walking one.  Gregor Mora gave up the only run of the game out of the bullpen while Johan Diaz recorded his 2nd save of the year.

Coming up – Everyone gets the day of the big league All Star game off except for the Dominican Dodgers who play their usual early morning game.
