The two days following Major League Baseball's All-Star Game are widely regarded as the quietest time in sports, but there is still televised baseball - and hot Dodgers prospect Joc Pederson - to be seen tonight, this time originating from Durham, North Carolina, this year's host of the Triple-A All-Star Game, starting at 4:00 P.M. Pacific Daylight Time.

This exhibition game pits the best of the Pacific Coast League against the top players in the International League, the two leagues that comprise the AAA, or highest, level of Minor League Baseball.

Pederson, currently a member of the Albuquerque Isotopes, starts for the PCL and will bat second. Those interested in observing his center-field glove should note that he is starting defensively in right field. No other Isotope player made the squad, but Albuquerque pitching coach Glenn Dishman is an official coach for the team.

Old friends Wilson "Boom Boom" Betemit, a member of the host Durham Bulls who are the AAA affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays, and Ivan De Jesus, Jr. of the Norfolk Tides (Baltimore Orioles), start for the IL. The former serves as the designated hitter, while the latter will take the field at shortstop.
