On the first day of the 2014-2015 international signing period, the Dodgers have signed Dominican outfielder Johan Calderon, per multiple reports. Calderon signed for $130,000, per Ben Badler of Baseball America.
The right-hander is 6'3, 195 pounds and played in 2014 for the Dominican Prospect League. He turns 17 on September 14.

This is the second reported international signing by the Dodgers on Wednesday. Coupled with the reported $205,000 given to infielder/outfielder Felix Osorio, the Dodgers have spent $335,000 of their $1,963,800 available bonus pool.
