The Dodgers have reportedly reached agreement with catcher Keibert Ruiz, a Venezuelan who just turned 16 on Sunday, per Ben Badler of Baseball America.
"Ruiz is 6 feet, 165 pounds with good catch-and-throw skills, showing an average arm with a clean transfer, along with good hands and footwork behind the plate," Badler wrote. "Ruiz is a switch-hitter who projects as more of a line-drive bat than a power threat."
Badler reported the Dodgers signed Ruiz for $140,000, the team's third-largest reported bonus of the 2014-2015 international signing period. Here is a look at the Dodgers' international amateur signings to date.
