Isotopes to give away Joc Pederson's 1994 Buick Century

"Little Chucky" could be yours.

Albuquerque Isotopes

Minor league promotions are always the best, and Triple-A Albuquerque is no different. The Isotopes will give away the car of top outfield prospect Joc Pederson next week, but it's not some souped up expensive ride.

Pederson's car that he brought to Albuquerque is a 1994 Buick Century, which sounds like pretty much everyone's first car ever (mine, in 1993, was a 1982 Chevy Citation, for instance).

The Isotopes describe the car, which has 166,000 miles on it, as "perfect for cruising around during the New Mexico summers with its "awesome" stereo system and lack of air conditioning," and joke that its Kelley Blue Book value of $1,000 depends on whether or not the car has a full tank of gas.

Pederson nicknamed the car "Little Chucky."

The car will be given away next Friday, Aug. 29. Fans can enter a drawing on the concourse in front of the Isotopes pro shop, and the vehicle will be given away on the field after the game.
