Minor League Player of the Day – (AA) - Chris O'Brien, 2 for 4, home run, one RBI. The Lookouts did not muster much of an attack but O'Brien hit his first home run of the series.
AA – The Lookouts scored twice to take a 2-0 lead over the Suns (Marlins) but then they saw the Suns score and score as Chattanooga now finds themselves down two games to none in the championship series. Steve Smith kept the lead until the fourth inning when he gave up two runs and then in the fifth inning, the Suns pushed ahead by one run. But it was the sixth inning where a pair of Suns two-run home runs paced a five run inning and the Lookouts were never in the game after that.
Rehabbing Jose Dominguez did get two outs but also gave up a hit and two walks.
Scott Schebler had a triple and went 2 for 4. Corey Seager was 1 for 3 with a run scored and a wall. And O'Koyea Dickson went 2 for 4.
Coming up – Jeremy Kehrt will toe the rubber in Jacksonville as the Lookouts try to win their first game of the series.
