Minor League Player of the Day – Julian Leon (Ogden) - 3 for 3, 1 HR, 5 RBI's, 2 walks. Leon's amazing season continued on Tuesday as he reached base all 5 times and tied a career high with 5 RBI's. His 57 runs batted in rank second in the Pionner League, and his 12 homers put him in 4th place. Not bad for the 18 year old catcher.

Rookie Ogden – The incredible season of Julian Leon continued on Tuesday as he led the Raptors to a 12 - 5 victory over Idaho Falls (Royals). Leon reached base in all 5 of his plate appearances, walking twice, singling twice, and connecting on a 2-run homer while driving in 5. Julian now has 4 multi-hit games in a row and is 10 for 17 during that stretch. Not to be outdone was fellow 18 year old Alex Verdugo as he went 3 for 5 with 3 RBI's and has amazingly knocked in 7 runs during his brief 3 game cameo with the Raptors. Jacob Scavuzzo also contributed with a 2-run homer, his first long ball of the season with Ogden after blasting 14 homers with the Raptors last year. On the mound starter Jeff Brigham threw relatively well as he gave up just 3 hits and 2 earned runs over 4 frames while striking out 5. Bernardo Reyes got the win in relief while Vaughn Hayward got credit for a hold with a perfect inning of work.
